Lesson Planning for ELLs
  PBS teachers develop their skills to identify content
learning objectives and language learning objectives in long , medium and short
term planning.  Lesson planning is further
guided by their understanding of effective approaches used in both the content
discipline and in foreign language teaching. In addition to identifying what
language and what content will be taught in your child’s lesson, PBS teachers consider
how language will be used in the teaching and learning process. They also
include assessment of both content and language development in planning your
learner’s lessons.
